On August 8, 2015 the VerticalArts Show opens its doors for the first time in the Friedrichsbau Varieté in Stuttgart. The event is all about aerial arts, showcasing pole dance, pole fitness, aerial hoop, silks and cube. National and international performers are invited to present their individual style on stage. The aim of the show is to celebrate the art form of aerial disciplines and to exchange experience without the pressure of a judged competition.
The upcoming sports forms pole fitness, pole dance and other aerial arts are gaining more popularity and are slowly losing their stripper image. Creativity, versatility and passion – with this slogan the VerticalArts Show launches this year, which is organised by the pole and aerial fitness studio VerticalArts located in Stuttgart, Germany.
National and international artists have the opportunity to perform at the atmospheric theatre Friedrichsbau Varieté. Performances are shown as single, doubles or group acts and some musical surprises can be expected. For all interested in aerial arts there are still tickets available for purchase from box office at the evening of the event.
“In Germany there is so for no such event, where not the competition is in the foreground but the art form”, says Franzi Giehl, pole and aerial fitness instructor and owner of VerticalArts studio Stuttgart.
International guest performers are invited. Heidi Coker, Lisette Krol, Hanka Venselaar, Evgeny Greshilov, Kira Noire and Olga Trifonova are adding international flair to the show with their performances. “With the internationally recognized and well known guests, the show is supposed to be create a one-time experience. The audience can profit from their experience and get to know aerial arts from a high level of standard”, says Franzi.
